Footings is a not-for-profit organization that specializes in providing non-traditional programs and services to children, teens and young adults.
We seek to develop skills that provide a wide variety of opportunities in the areas of :
- Independence
- Self-expression
- Choice making
- Self-representation
Our services are meant to provide options by not allowing labels to limit possibilities or to define a person, they will have given voice to their own dreams and created a credo of support.
ABOUT THE DOTS........
Most people look at the dots and their minds perceive a shape...usually a square or a rectangle. Because their minds perceive this shape, their minds also perceive a border surrounding the dots. That imaginary border creates and enhances the PERCEPTION of a box which then DEFINES and LIMITS the possibilities that can and will be explored. Problem solving becomes cliched and ordinary.
